BUILD PAGE 14 - Building the Cart / Control Center Continued
Just another view of the business end of the cart.
Here is a sneak peak of the rotary axis that we are working on.
Another view of the rotary axis and the custom made supports for the tube.
This mount is on or cnc plasma machine and is designed to accept the rotary axis
from the router.
This will allow one rotary axis to easily be moved back and forth from one machine
to the other by making a couple of connections.
Thank you for following this build.
A lot of this project is uncharted territory for the equipment and us here at Desert
Fabworks. If you know of a piece of equipment that would go good with this project
or if there is something you would like us to try
Ok here it is the Finished Cart. With custom stainless steel panels behind the logo
with red LED’s for a little extra something. We had the LED’s laying around and
though it would be cool.
The Router is situated on the back portion of the cart with a little space up front
for laying out tools or for expansion in the future to the longer bed version.
The top of the table was desined to be larger than the base and we used some weather
stripping to provide a bumper around the edge and to protect he cart.
We used Finneys powder coating in Lake Havasu, AZ for all of the powder coating on
this and it came out great.
